TOULOUSE INP - ENSIACET
Today the chemical industry must adapt to cope with the increasing scarcity of resources, the new regulations, and the social, ecological and political pressure. In this context, the use of renewable resources like feedstocks or microbial biomass represent a real interest to prepare functional bioproducts and to contribute to energetic transition which constitutes significant levers for innovation. By combining the different disciplines Green chemistry, Catalysis, (Bio)Processes, and Formulation this master aims at providing the essential tools to develop clean and safe processes involved in the new emerging fields of agribusiness.
This course is part of current concerns for sustainable development. The objectives are:

MSc Green CAP is a two-year program (M1 and M2). The training is divided into four semesters of 30 ECTS credits each: three academic semesters and a 6-month internship.
The first semester (M1) is a semester for international master (SIM) shared with other international masters, taking place in INSA, and dedicated to the scientific integration of students. It helps the students to get used to the French academic system and their new environment.
The second semester (M1) includes thematic courses combining tutorials, seminars and a project. It is divided in 4 teaching units (TU).
The third semester (M2) is divided into 6 TU:
The fourth semester (M2) is dedicated to the internship (Master thesis)

Different Internship opportunities are offered in companies, research & development centers or in laboratories linked to the Master.
The annual tuition fees are 9000€.
Average monthly living costs for a student in Toulouse is between 700 and 1000€. The amount depends a lot on the accommodation you will choose.

Acceptance to scholarships from INP-INSA can reduce the tuition fees down to 5230€ or 5473€ per year, depending on student's status.
Scholarship through a reduction of the fees can be offered to students coming from partner universities.
Exceptionally the same kind of scholarship can be given to top level students.

If you have an international degree:
To enter the 1st year of the MSc program, you will require a Bachelor of Sciences/Engineering
Please note that it is also possible to integrate directly the 2nd year of the program. To do so, you will need to have obtained a Master of Sciences/Engineering and have work experience.
If you have a French degree :
- To be admitted in M1 the required level is L3
- For the admission in M2 the required level is M1

For FREE ! All the students enrolled with this Master of Science will be given the Toul'Box "All In" pack with a private pick-up at the airport or train station in Toulouse (working days and working hours).
Students studying at INP-ENSIACET can apply for a CROUS student residence: cité universitaire de Rangueil (Tripodes) or résidence Daniel Faucher (see with the head master and the international office). Several other accommodation options are available, such as in a private student residence.

If you are a European citizen, you do not have any work restrictions in France.
If you are not a EU citizen, normally you will have a long-term student visa (VLS-TS) which allows international students to work for 960 hours over a one-year period (on average, 20 hours per week). Internships are not included in this limit.

The GreenCAP Master is particularly suited to students wishing to specialize in the valorization of new materials for industrial applications by using clean processes.
Placements and prospects are mainly in the fields of research and development, production, engineering, consultancy or environmental assessment.
Employment sectors are: Ecotechnologies, Bioprocessing, Cosmetics & health, Bioproducts of specialities, Agro-industry, Energy production chains, and the Environment.
The graduates of this program can apply for a residence permit "recherche d'emploi / création d'entreprise" ("job search / business creation") for graduate students. This residence permit allows students to remain in France for up to one year to look for employment.
At the end of your studies, if you have obtained your diploma, you can apply for a residence permit "recherche d'emploi / création d'entreprise" (except Algerian students). This residence permit replaces the temporary residence permit that was previously issued to graduate students ("APS Master").
This residence permit can also be requested from abroad: if you leave France at the end of your studies, you can apply for the residence permit "recherche d'emploi / création d'entreprise" at the French consulate in your home country or your country of residence within 4 years after graduation.
