Presentation

The objective of the education program is to train the students to become experts in multiphysics modelling. Multiphase flows are of major importance for modelling the behaviour of industrial processes. Advanced courses on turbulence, coupling chemical reactions and flows, heat and mass transfer are complemented by exercises and practical training on numerical simulations. Lectures on physical mechanisms such as turbulent flows, dispersed two-phase flows, porous media, interface dynamics, non-newtonian flows.

Knowledge and skills

The modelling of multiphysics phenomena is a keystone of the education program. The students will be trained to work with Computational Fluid Dynamics tools (commercial codes but also research and industrial softwares). Projects based on industrial processes will be used to strengthen team work and oral presentation skills.

Access condition

International degree:
- Bachelor of Sciences/Engineering: M1
- Master of Sciences/Engineering: M2
French degree for a foreign student:
- Admission in M1: required level L3
- Admission in M2: required level M1
