  • This education program is focused on Embedded Systems for  Embedded and Communicating Applications. It is part of the Masters in  Aeronautics and Space consortium of Toulouse's "Aerospace Valley".

    This master covers the main fields of electronics for embedded systems : analog and digital electronics, microwave engineering, signal processing, power management.

    All lecturers are part of major research centers or worldwide industry  leaders in Aeronautics, Space and embedded systems (Airbus, Thales, Continental, Astrium, Rockwell Collins...)

Objectives

  • Objectives : The 2-year porgram prepares future researchers and executives for  international careers in the sectors of avionics, space systems and embedded systems

Admission

Access condition

  • Required level : Bachelor of Science, Engineering degree, 4 years of higher education.

Program

Training content

The master is taught in English and divided in 4 semesters of 30 ECTS each:

Semester 1 (M1):  Scientific basis, cultural integration, linguistics and methodology: modular training in analog and digital electronics, microwave and signal processing.

Semester 2 (M1) :  Core courses and IC design, microwave, signal processing.

Semester 3 (M2):  Advanced courses in Microwave Engineering, Integrating circuits design for embedded systems, Signal, Image Processing and their applications to the spatial and aeronautics context. A research project of 100h in a major academic laboratory.


Semester 4 (M2): Graduation Internship (5-6 months) in academic Laboratories or in Industry.

Trainings

  • 2 internships (6 weeks + 6 months) in a laboratory or a company. One individually tutored project in a research team (100h tutoring), plus several project with small groups of students.

And after ...

Further studies

  • PhD in the domains of electronics, signal processing, communications, aeronautics and space.

Career prospects

  • The 2-year porgram prepares future researchers and executives for international careers in the sectors of avionics, space systems and embedded systems.
